ORANGEBURG, SC (April 3, 2022) — The South Carolina State softball dropped Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) series to Maryland-Eastern Shore over the weekend at the Bulldog Softball Field.

Five seniors were honored during pregame activities over the weekend.

On Saturday in a doubleheader SCSU (3-25 overall, 2-7 MEAC) dropped the first game 3-15, while suffering a 1-7 setback in game 2 to close out the day.

UMES (12-19, 8-1) finished out series in an 0-13 shutout victory over the Bulldogs on Sunday.

Next Up South Carolina State will host Norfolk State in a three-game series over the weekend Saturday (April 9th) and Sunday (April 10th) at Bulldog Softball Field.
