ATLANTA, GA (August 24, 2023) – South Carolina State women’s volleyball team opens the 2023 campaign on the road at the Georgia State Invitational on Aug. 25-26. at GSU Sports Arena.
The Lady Bulldogs open tournament play vs. Georgia State on Friday at 1 p.m., followed by a 3:30 p.m. matchup with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.Head Coach Melissa (Robinson) Paige enters her first year at the helm and welcomes ten (10) newcomers to this year’s roster.
The Lady Bulldogs will embark on a 24-game schedule including 15 away, nine (9) home, and four (4) tournaments including the Georgia State Invitational from Aug. 25th -26th in Atlanta, GA, Wofford/Upstate Invitational Sept. 1st -2nd in Spartanburg, SC, Queens Falls Classic Sept. 8th-9th in Charlotte, NC, and The Buccaneer Invitational Sept. 15-16th in Charleston, SC.
