ORANGEBURG, SC (November 17, 2021) —Rachel Ross tossed in a game-high 23 points to lead visiting USC-Upstate to an 70-51 victory over South Carolina State Tuesday (Nov. 16th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

All-MEAC forward Trinity Klock finished with 10 points and seven (7) rebounds, freshman guard Victoria Jordan added 8 and six (6) in the loss.

Turnovers seemed the deciding factor down the stretch as South Carolina State committed 27 costly errors in the game.

Next up South Carolina State host St. Thomas University (Minnesota) Thursday (Nov. 18th) in a non-conference matchup, beginning at 6 p.m. at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
