ORANGEBURG, SC (November 18, 2021) –  All-MEAC performer sophomore forward Trinity Klock tossed in a team-high 12 points, while freshman guard Nicole Gwynn added 10 but it wasn’t enough as South Carolina State suffered another setback 50-65 Thursday (Nov.18th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Junior forward Shania Wright added 9 in the loss. St. Thomas was led by graduate forward Erin Norling with a game-high 19 points, while Kaia Porter and Kate Burns each added 11 points respectively.

South Carolina State will play in the Georgia Southern Tournament over the holiday break Nov.26-27 in Statesboro, GA. The Lady Bulldogs will take on host Georgia Southern on Friday, Nov.,26th at 1 p.m. , followed by Indiana State on Saturday, Nov. 27th at 3:30 p.m.
