NORFOLK, Va., May 8, 2023—The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Monday announced the 2023 Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic selections, honoring 172 student-athletes from the conference’s eight member institutions who have achieved academic success.

MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

Fourteen (14) SC State student-athletes earned the honor.

Howard led the way with 29, followed by Morgan State with 27, Delaware State and Norfolk State 26 each, Maryland Eastern Shore 23, NC Central 16 and Coppin State 11.

“Congratulations to our outdoor track & field All-Academic student-athletes,” MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills said. “Education is the cornerstone of everything we do, both at the conference level and in intercollegiate athletics as a whole.
