ORANGEBURG, SC (November 14, 2023)—Senior guard Omar Croskey tossed in a game-high 21 points, while freshman guard Mitchel Taylor chipped a 17 to lead South Carolina State to an, 87-77, win over North Florida Monday (Nov.14th) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Wilson Dubinsky added 11 points and four (4) rebounds, while freshman forward James Morrow chipped in eight (8) points and seven (7) rebounds in the win.

The Bulldogs led in several categories including points in the paint (57-26), points off turnovers (18-10), fast break points (11-6), bench points (38-33) and rebounding (38-31).

South Carolina State improves to 2-1 overall, while NFU falls to 2-1 on the season.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State hit the road for a six game road swing versus Samford (Nov.17), Tulsa (Nov.20), Missouri (Nov. 22), Missouri State (Nov. 25), Furman (Nov.28) and Charleston Southern (Dec. 2) before returning home to host Bethune-Cookman on Dec. 9 at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center in an 2 p.m. start.
