PRINCESS ANNE, MD (January 22, 2022)— Jemal Davis scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed eight (8) rebounds to lead South Carolina State to an, 69-60, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) road win over Maryland-Eastern Shore Saturday (Jan.22nd) at W.P. Hytche Arena.
T.J. Madlock finished with 13 points, while Omer Croskey added 12 points and nine rebounds in the win. Deaquan Williams controlled the boards on the day with 12 rebounds.
Despite the 23 turnovers on the day, the Bulldogs managed to win out in several categories including rebounding (47-31), On Court points (38-35), points off turnovers (15-13), points in the paint (26-20) and second chance points (15-8).
South Carolina State improves to 9-10 overall, 1-2 in the MEAC, while UMES falls to 5-8 overall, 0-2 in the league.
