ORANGEBURG, SC (December 23, 2023) —Davion Everett posted the games only double-double with a game-high 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead South Carolina State to an 101-84 win over Brewton-Parker College Friday (Dec. 22) in non-conference play inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

South Carolina State improves to 4-10 overall, while BPC falls to 4-10 on the season.

The Bulldogs were also led by Wilson Dubinsky with 15 points and teammates Jordan Simpson and Raquan Brown with 10 points each respectively.

SCSU led in several categories including, Points in the Paint (48-30), Bench Points (72-44), and Rebounding (54-31).

Brewton-Parker was led by Zailan Blue with 15 points in the loss.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action after Christmas in a two-game road swing at Nebraska (Dec. 29) and Oklahoma State (Dec. 31), before beginning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play with Norfolk State on Jan. 6th at home.
